Additional Information
A large proportion (close to 95 per cent) of Budget Energy customers use Pay as You Go (Keypad) meters. This is popular with many customers as they pay for energy as they use it and Budget offer their best deal to Pay as You Go customers. Budget Energy provides a range of payment methods and online switching is available.
Keypad customers can top up on-line, use the freephone service or at any paypoint / payzone outlet. Credit (bill paying) customers can pay by monthly direct debit, by cheque, cash or via the freephone service. As a bill pay customer if you choose not to pay by direct debit there is a £150 security deposit.
